1. Mon. Joshua 5:13- 6:27: I am very serious about wanting God to use me! I want to be like the people in the Bible and be used by God! God used Joshua in a VERY BIG way! No one could have performed this miracle! God did. This shows me that all I have to do is ask and God will use me in a miraculous way!
2. Tues. Joshua 7:1-26: A very negative consequence I had was whenever I threw a drumstick at my wall and it left a dent. I got punished. The man in this passage stole from God. Everyone found out, and they killed him. This wouldn't have happened if he wouldn't have sinned against God.
3.Wed. Joshua 10:1-15: I know God is powerful because..well..He supplies EVERYTHING for me! He gave His people strength to fight armies that were 3 times bigger than theirs. They slaughtered all of them easily. Armies that were bigger than the big armies got slaughtered. This tiny army came and destroyed this army many times bigger than theirs. This is how amazing God is!
4. Thurs. Joshua 23:1-16: The warning I need to obey is obey ALL of God's laws. If I do this, then I will be obeying everything! I know I can't just stop sinning. It's impossible! With God's help, I can sin alot less. I want God to help me obey His laws!
5. Fri. Joshua 24:1-31: I can get hope from history by being faithful that God will supply everything I need. He did it for all of His followers! That gives me hope and faith that He will do it for me. If I follow God, He will help me. It's as easy as that!
